Pastoral Care

A high standard of pastoral care is a feature of TWA. We aim to ensure the physical and emotional welfare of students.   

Pastoral care focuses on the whole child personal, social, and academic, and it engages all school community members as providers of pastoral care. Moreover, ongoing wellbeing actively involves the school community to support the children in their general wellbeing area.   

We encourage teachers and learning assistants to recognize pastoral care dimensions in every interaction with their students by monitoring and managing, attendance and progress, developing positive student attitudes and aspirations and any signs of safeguarding or bullying.
