School Life 

Education is about experiences! The World Academy – King Abdullah Economic City offers a complete range of life experiences, in and out of the specialized learning zones, including:

• Involvement in school decision making through Student Government
• Community service projects
• Peer mentoring
• International and local travel for experiential learning activities
• Intra and extra-curricular competitions (i.e. sports, performing arts, visual arts and public speaking, Model United Nations)

The aim of The World Academy – King Abdullah Economic City is to provide a well-balanced, holistic educational program, underpinned by the study and celebration of the KSA’s language, culture, traditions and belief systems. Outstanding teachers from around the world teach a program enhanced by advantages traditional to the Saudi education system; segregated learning from grades 4-12, native Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Civics.

Students have access to a growing after school activities program that includes homework and English practice, sports, clubs, service learning projects, arts and crafts. All students are encouraged to participate in activities after school and parents are welcome as spectators as well as participants to continuously build a sense of school community.
