Dear TWA Parents, 

We are writing to inform you that the Alferas Educational Company will be taking over the management and administration of TWA as of the upcoming academic year 2023/24. JIS is a well-established institution with 27 years of experience in delivering high-quality education and is accredited by MSA and Cognia providing an American curriculum. 

Our alumni association has over 1500 members who have graduated from esteemed universities around the world, and we are confident that this new partnership will benefit TWA students and families. 

We are excited to offer TWA students a variety of academic opportunities, including honors classes, University of Nebraska High School courses, electives, clubs, sports, trips, and more. We administer and are a testing center for SAT, Stanford 10 Tests, IELTS tests, PSAT and IBT tests and AP programs and are a College Board member. Each student has access to Microsoft 365 for education and all its supporting applications. 

We believe that a holistic approach to education is essential for student success, and we are committed to providing students with the tools they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives.  

All necessary details, including academic and activity calendars, weekly plans, and a comprehensive parent handbook, will be posted on the school website. We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all students and families. 

There will be no change to the base fees for the upcoming academic year. However, there will be some fee additions to cover the cost of educational materials and services provided by the school. The revised fee structure is attached to this letter. 

We prioritize having well-qualified staff and have retained some of the existing staff and appointed new staff members. 

We understand that change can be unsettling, but we assure you that we have carefully planned this transition to minimize disruptions. We are here to address any concerns or queries you may have, as we work for the benefit of our students based on international educational guidelines, Ministry of Education guidelines and our traditions and values. We thank Emaar, represented by Mr Cyril, Mr Sami and Mr Naif for their support in reaching this agreement with us. 

We have an open-door policy and value open clear communication with parents and are contactable on multiple platforms throughout the academic year.
